Lois Lane Archives #1 - Now here's a switch: Superman does not take
first place even in his own category! Lois Lane, Superman's Girlfirend
Archives would include her early appearances in Showcase and the initial
issues of her own series. She grabs the support of 18% of the votes and
the #1 spot. Superman: The Man of Tomorrow #3 - Silver Age fans won the day this time with both winners coming for the same era. The Man of Tomorrow Archives continue the adventures of Superman in Action and Superman comics for the 1960's. This edition grabs 17% of the vote and the #2 position. |

This year, I did a bit of a modification. When the results were tallied, I ran a modified Chi Square analysis. I ran a line through the chart for illustrative purposes. At that line, the test does not resolve significant interest or significant disinterest. Those are the votes that can be explained by voters with no preference. I then test for things that are above and below the line. In the example below, both of the winning editions show significance in that the level of interest rises above the noise in the data. Four of the remaining editions are not resolvable from the line. Interest and disinterets is basically equal. Superman #8 falls below the line significantly, implying there was active disinterst in that edition, presumably because we just saw Volume 7.
