The #1 choice is a clean win is the Man of Steel Archives #1 with 49% of respondents adding this to their list of requested Archives. Covering the Silver Age Adventures of Superman, this edition would begin with the revelation of Supeman's Fortress of Solitude in Action #241 and go forward, sticking to the Action series of combing both Action and other Superman related material.

Lois Lane #1

Squeaking into second place with 33% of respondents requesting it, the Lois Lane Archive #1 would be the first to provide an Archival collection to one of Superman's supporting case that was not a super-hero. The inital issue would cover Lois' solo run in Showcase and the first issues of her own Silver Age series. Is a Perry White Archives next? Great Ceaser's Ghost!

Lois' victory was a close one as shown in the figure below. Given the size of the survey, one can expect that a variation of 2% in the numbers is the likely error of detection. That is to say, if numbers are with 2-3 percentage points, they can be considered equivalent. As shown below, both Action #4 and Superman in World's Finest #1 are within striking distance of Lois. Thus, while there is a numerical difference, it is closer to the truth to suggest that the three Archives are in a statistical dead heat.
